DFG Member Policy
DFG does not seek to control or restrict what players do with their characters as long as all story and art content meets a standard PG-13 rating requirement and are represented within legal limits. As long as our players are not directly breaking the law, we don't care what they do with their dogs or their kennel.
1. BE KIND TO YOUR FELLOW COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
As a participant in the DFG community you're expected to be respectful at all times. We will not get involved with conflicts but if any members are found to be bullying others in any way within any of our platforms they will be banned permanently.
2. WE DO NOT ALLOW THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WHATSOEVER.
We believe the use of AI in the art community is ethically questionable and that the widespread contempt among artists is enough reason to ban its use within DFG outright. It simply isn't conducive to the environment we want to foster and therefore will not be tolerated.
3. DO NOT BREAK THE LAW.
We allow the use of all art techniques including tracing and grid drawing, as long as they are done in a way that respects copyright law. We do not actively go looking for unlawfully traced work but will investigate if there is sufficient evidence brought to our attention. Repeat offenders, in other words members who have been determined to use images unlawfully three (3) times, will be removed from all our platforms permanently.
4. WE WELCOME ALL DOGS.
This includes both recognized purebreds as well as mixed breeds, sparkledogs, and everything in between. Mixed breeds are welcome to compete within conformation events that are labeled as "all-dog." They will be assessed and placed separately from purebreds on general structural points relevant to their health and longevity rather than by any specific standard. Any dog with a written standard will be counted as a purebred within DFG, including sparkledogs, and will be shown alongside realistic purebreds.
